Question 1

What does Sentient do

Accepted Answer

Sentient connects your brokerage accounts across eight platforms, lets you copy any trader's trades into your own accounts, and keeps stop-loss, take-profit and closes in step across brokers. A grounded assistant answers questions about your accounts, and a news feed tags and ranks headlines by impact.

Question 2

Which platforms are integrated

Accepted Answer

TradeLocker, MetaTrader 5, OANDA, Alpaca, Tradier, Match-Trader, Tradovate and Webull. Each sits behind the same adapter contract, so copying works the same way across all of them. More platforms are added as member demand and broker API access allow.

Question 3

How fast does a copy follow the original trade

Accepted Answer

On live orders, a copy is filled about half a second after the leader's fill. Stop-loss and take-profit edits reach the copy in under a second, a close in about a quarter of a second, and when the leader's stop fires the copy is closed on the same event.

Question 4

Does the assistant give trading advice

Accepted Answer

No. It answers from your own accounts and our documentation, cites what it read, and refuses to forecast prices or recommend trades. A guard runs on every response and removes claims the sources do not support.

Question 5

Is there a free trial or free version

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every yearly plan, Essential, Pro and Premium, starts with a 14-day free trial, and you pay nothing if you cancel before it ends. Monthly plans start right away. There is also a free tier you can keep for as long as you like.

Question 6

Is my broker connection secure

Accepted Answer

Sentient connects with each broker's own authentication and never holds your funds. Credentials are stored encrypted and scoped per service, and you can disconnect a broker at any time from the app.

Question 7

Can I cancel my subscription at any time

Accepted Answer

Yes. Cancel whenever you like with no fee. You keep your paid features until the end of the current billing period, and you can stay on the free tier afterwards to keep your history.

Question 8

Do I need a brokerage account to use Sentient

Accepted Answer

You need at least one connected brokerage account to copy trades. The news feed and the assistant's platform answers work without one.
